What exactly is Christ Renews His Parish?

Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) is an opportunity designed to bring members of our tri-parish together to experience the love of Christ. Just as all of our other commitments need renewal so does our commitment to Christ. Christ Renews His Parish retreat weekend is a spiritual renewal that us calls together to experience personal conversion and Christian community.

The uniqueness of the Christ Renews His Parish retreat weekend is in its continuation. Participants are usually so inspired, so renewed, so uplifted, that they're anxious to share their faith experience with others from their parish.

What Happens During the Weekend?

Come prepared to have fun and renew your heart and spirit. The weekend is centered around reflections by team members, with emphasis on small group discussion and activities.

You'll be free to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. You and your needs will always be respected. The sharing dialogue is stimulated in a very liturgical, scriptural and prayerful atmosphere. Sacraments are part of the weekend. Liturgy is celebrated for participants and reconciliation is offered.

Who Can Attend a Christ Renews His Parish Weekend?

Every registered member of our tri-parish community, over the age of 19, is invited and encouraged to attend a weekend. Christ Renews His Parish is for anyone seeking spiritual renewal, desiring to build up the body of Christ or gain a deeper sense of purpose within our tri-parish community.

The Logistics

The weekends will be held at all three parishes, with overnight accommodations at Our Lady of Carter Lake. The weekend begins around 7:30 on Saturday morning and closes late Sunday afternoon. Men's and women's weekends are held separately.

There is no cost for the weekend. All food and beverages are supplied.
